England Coach Gareth Southgate has dropped a massive hint Jadon Sancho could start the match against Andorra, MySportDab reports.

Southgate believes that Sancho’s qualities are perfect for this match.

The England coach also confirmed that Kieran Trippier will be the captain of his team Vs Andorra.

During his squad selection, Southgate made a tough decision to pick Sancho despite his poor start to life at Manchester United.

Southgate has spoken to Sancho already at St George’s Park this week and will now give him the chance to build his confidence against Andorra.

When Andorra played against England last month, they made the contest tough and the Three Lions scored most of their goals in the 2nd half.

This is why Southgate believes Sancho’s trickery and speed will help England effectively.

‘We need players that are good in one-on-one situations and have the quality take their opponents out of the match,’ said Southgate.

‘We will also need guys that can get in between the lines and do things.

‘Jadon has all the attributes. This is a huge part of the challenge for him and that’s focused on adapting to a massive change in the Premier League. ‘

Sancho was Manchester United’s biggest summer signing and Southgate feels delivering in the Premier League is his biggest obstacle.

‘In the League every match has a different intensity,’ said Southgate.

‘At Dortmund, they are a top club and won most of their matches comfortably.

‘But early on he played against teams like Wolves in the other end of the table, and their intensity must have surprised him.’

England face Andorra in a World Cup Qualifier match today.
