Robert Lewandowski agent have suggested Manchester City to be his client next destination ahead of January window, MySportDab reports.
The Bayern Munich striker has been linked with a move away from Germany were he spent all his career playing.
Manchester City could be the next place for Robert Lewandowski who is reported to be nearing a move away from Bayern Munich.
Earlier before the season kicked off, the Poland International openly confirmed he wanted a new challenge elsewhere after winning everything in Germany.
Clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City were open to making a move happen but nothing was serious because he wasn’t made available in the market.
Robert Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, considers Manchester City to be a “possible destination” for his client in 2022, according to claims coming from Bild.
The prolific Polish striker is under contract at Bayern Munich until 2023, but may look for one more challenge at 33 years of age which is also another cause for concern.
The striker does not have much left in him to play in a competitive environment such as the English Premier League where most players struggle to make it.
Robert Lewandowski could see his dream come through of playing in England but it’s not sure if Manchester City will be looking to spend big base on how Bayern Munich value him.
A price tag of €80 million was placed on him during the summer window which was part of the reason no club attempt to open negotiations for a move.
The Premier League Champions won’t be investing that huge on the striker knowing he does not have much left to offer playing in a competitive environment.
Nothing yet is happening until the January transfer window opens before we know if the move will happen or just another rumor to shake Bayern Munich into offering a new deal.
