OFFICIAL: Manchester United CONFIRM Raphael Varane Injury Length Problem (New Update)

Manchester United have now officially provided a new update about the injury of defender Raphael Varane, MySportDab reports.

Raphael Varane will be unavailable for United’s next crucial matches after suffering an injury on international duty.

Varane returned to Manchester after limping out of France’s win against Spain in the Nations League final.

He underwent tests at the Manchester United training center earlier this week.

Manchester United have now officially released a statement confirming his injury length.

Manchester United’s statement read: ‘Raphael Varane suffered a groin muscle injury in the UEFA Nations League match and has now started his rehabilitation process at the club.

“He will be unavailable for a few weeks.’

Now, United’s new £43million signing will miss some crucial matches including Premier League matches against Leicester, Liverpool, and Tottenham over the new few weeks.

Varane was on the bench for the second half of France’s match with an ice pack strapped to his right thigh.

He flew back to Manchester from Milan after the match on a private jet with his team-mate Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman’s injury is now a big problem for Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Harry Maguire is still recovering from an ankle injury and remains unavailable.

If Maguire is not fit for Saturday’s match against Leicester, Solskjaer could start Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof in defence.

Phil Jones is another option now back available but he has played first team football for over a year.

MySportDab can confirm that Harry Maguire participated in some light training at Carrington on Monday.
