Goals from Christian Benteke alongside Carrasco and Thorgan Hazard saw Belgium reach World Cup 2022 after a 3-1 win against Estonia, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was good coming from both ends which saw goals being scored as they showed so much quality going forward and defending.
Nothing to write home about in the first 10 minutes of the game which saw dry with few opportunities which didn’t push through into anything good.
Christian Benteke gave Belgium the lead in the 11th minute of the game after an amazing teamwork effort saw Carrasco providing the assistance to make it 1-0.
Estonia were solid with their defending after that early goal which saw them doing so much all through the 45 minutes which wasn’t an easy task for them against their opponent.
Nothing else could happen as they approached the final few minutes left to play in the first 45 minutes of the game which saw more opportunities coming through.
The first half ended with Belgium taking a 1-0 advantage into the break against Estonia who gave a good account of themselves despite going down.
Second Half Report
The second half was much better coming from both teams who found the back of the net while going forward with brilliant display.
Belgium increased their lead in the 53rd minute of the second half to 2-0 thanks to Carrasco who scored a stunner after being assisted by Christian Benteke.
Things were looking good for the Red Devils as they dominated things until the 70th minute which saw Estonia pulled one back through Erik Sorga to make it 2-1.
Throgan Hazard made it 3-1 in the 74th minute of the game after a good combination with Manchester City man Kevin de Bruyne for the stunning goal.
The match ended with Belgium taking all three points after a 3-1 win against Estonia to book their World Cup ticket for Qatar 2022.
