Croatia made light work of Malta in their FIFA World Cup qualifying match which saw them won 1-7, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both Countries found the back of the net in the first half of the encounter which saw the Croatians making good use of all their opportunities.
Ivan Perisic 6th minutes goal gave Croatia the lead 0-1 after a fantastic teamwork effort saw them making things go their way.
The game progressed with Malta holding their ground until a 22nd minutes goal from Duje Caleta-Car increased the lead to 0-2 from a good finish.
Thing progressed with the home side pulling one goal back in the 31st minutes after an own-Goal from Brozovic which made the scoreline 1-2.
Mario Pasalic 39th minute goal saw things going up 1-3 as the first half continued with the visitors making sure they convert all their opportunities.
Luka Modric scored in the 45 minutes plus added time to make the scoreline 1-4 as nothing the home side could do to stop the goals from pouring in.
The first half came to an end with Malta 1-4 Croatia which saw them both heading for the break with a comfortable advantage to the Croatians.
Second Half Report
The second half was another one sided 45 minutes of football which saw the goals still coming without an answer from the losing side.
A 47th minute strike from Lovro Majer increased Croatia lead to 1-5 as the game progressed with more coming from the FIFA World Cup finalist.
Malta were so out of control as things didn’t look good for them going forward before Andrej Kramaric scored in the 54th minute to make things 1-6.
Another goal in the 64th minute made it 1-7 with Lovro Majer making it his brace from a clinical finish which killed off the game as they approached final few stages.
The match ended with Malta 1-7 Croatia which saw the visiting side claimed another three points in their FIFA World Cup qualifier for Qatar 2022.
