Manchester United CONFIRM Jesse Lingard Asking Price For Transfer Exit (Details)

Manchester United have now confirmed their asking price to sell midfielder Jesse Lingard in January, MySportDab reports. 

Jesse Lingard could leave Manchester United in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has struggled for regular playing this season after returning from his loan spell at West Ham last season.

United refused to sell Lingard to the Hammers in the summer and demanded £25 million which is £7m more than.

Now, According to The Sun, United are now happy to sell Lingard in the January transfer window for only £10m.

Lingard revived his career at the London Stadium last season, after losing his place at Old Trafford before.

During his stay at West Ham, He scored nine goals in 16 matches and helped the Hammers qualify for European football.

Although, United were not ready to sell Lingard for cheap in the summer, he is still yet to start a single match in the Premier League this season.

United must now consider the fact that is currently in the final year of his contract.

He will be free to speak to clubs outside the Premier League in January and could leave on a free transfer.

In October, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he wanted Lingard to sign a new contract.

He said: ‘Jesse has enjoyed a good start to the season. He’s scored a few important goals for us as a substitute and that’s very important.

“We want to extend his contract, he is an important player. It’s up to him and me, to give him more playing time.’

Jesse Lingard has been at Manchester United for more than 20 years from his childhood academy days.
