Liverpool’s forward, Mohamed Salah has been awarded the Premier League’s Player of the Month for October following his nine goals contributions for the Reds.

Salah has been on immense form, scoring or assisting in every single game, including a hat-trick in the 5-0 win against Manchester United.

The Egyptian beat the likes of Ben Chilwell, Declan Rice and Phil Foden to claim the award for the first time this season.

The other nominees for the award were Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet, Southampton defender Tino Livramento and Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans.

Salah’s treble against Old Trafford put him in the record books as the first player to ever score a hat-trick at Old Trafford in the Premier League. He also scored beautiful goals against Watford and Man City last month.

Salah’s contribution to Liverpool’s title bid this season cannot be overemphasized as he scored or assisted in every single Premier League.

This is the fourth time Salah will win the award since joining Liverpool, with the first one coming in November 2017.

Michail Antonio and Cristiano Ronaldo won the August and September Player of the Month awards.

Liverpool return to action after the international break with a home game against Arsenal on November 20.
