Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye have just completed a move to Watford, MySportDab reports.
The 22-year-old will remain with his club until next season which he will return to Watford.
The English Premier League side reached an agreement to sign highly-rated young goalkeeper Maduka Okoye from Sparta Rotterdam.
The shot-stopper has been linked with other clubs in Europe who made their interest known, but Watford were the side who made things happen.
The Nigerian signed a five and a half year contract which will see him remain with Watford until 2027.
He will return to Sparta Rotterdam on loan for now until when the season comes to an end before joining his new teammates.
Maduka Okoye has been exceptional for club and Country over the years which has seen him played in every game for Clubside this season.
He made his debut for Super Eagles of Nigeria in their 1-1 draw against Brazil in 2019 which was a friendly encounter.
Watford confirmed the signing of Maduka Okoye on their website today as he was unveiled by the Premier League new comers.
Last season he won Sparta’s Player of the Season award for a string of stellar performances which saw them finished 8th in the league.
His abilities in the goal post has seen Watford completed a move for him as they new signing ahead of next season.
