Arsenal Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now been banished from first-team training by Coach Mikel Arteta, MySportDab reports.
He will remain exiled by Mikel Arteta until the end of 2021.
Aubameyang’s future at Arsenal is now uncertain after he was stripped of the club captaincy on Monday.
Arsenal said the was removed from the position for his ‘latest disciplinary breach.’
He returned late to England from a trip to France that would bring his mom with him back.
According to reports, the 32-year-old has not been involved in first-team training at Arsenal’s London Colney HQ this week.
Instead, he has been training alone, away from the first team squad.
On Friday, Arteta confirmed that Aubameyang would not used for the weekend game against Leeds.
MySportDab understands that his non-inclusion in the first-team will continue until next year when he leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations.
A date for Aubameyang’s release for AFCON has not yet been agreed between Cameroon and Arsenal.
But it is understood that he wants to leave for international duty.
Aubameyang is keen to stay as fit as possible ahead of Gabon’s AFCON tournament campaign and has not refused to train.
Despite the fall-out, Arsenal must provide Aubameyang with training provisions so that he can still use the club’s facilities.
But his lack of first-team involvement has raises questions over whether there is a way back at Arsenal.
There is very little hope of Aubameyang being reintegrated back into the first team before he leaves for international duty in January.
Arsenal are expected to consider selling Aubameyang in January and will look at offers in the January transfer window.
This is now a tricky task of potentially phasing Aubameyang back into the the squad when he returns from AFCON.
It remains unknown if Aubameyang’s absence could make him become an outcast at the club and not play again until his exit.
