Gabriel Martinelli and Emily Smith Rowe scored as Arsenal beat West Ham United 2-0 to move 4th on the table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

An evenly balanced first half encounter which was filled with so much tactical football between both teams in the 45 minutes which failed to result in any goal scored.

West Ham United had so much pressure on them as they started the match as the second best against the Gunners who had so much room to operate.

Arsenal had everything going their way but couldn’t manage getting a goal despite all their attempts going forward against the home team who were solid at the back.

It was looking all balanced as they entered the final stages left to be played in the first half of the encounter which still a goalless scoreline with just 10 minutes left.

The Gunners and the Hammers had an opportunity of making it count on many occasions, but they just couldn’t get the final finishing perfectly anytime they got close.

The first half of the encounter ended with Arsenal 0-0 West Ham United as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Report

The second half kicked off with West Ham United left with so much work as they had everything to lose if the scoreline turned into the final result for them.

Arsenal carried on with their dominance while their opponent had to result into defending and making sure they did not concede as the match progressed further in the second half.

Gabriel Martinelli scored in the 58th minute of the second half after an amazing team work effort saw the Brazilian making the scoreline 1-0 for his side.

The Hammers did well enough to continue the match holding on to things until a bad decision from Vladimir Coufal in the 67th minute saw him sent off with a red card.

Alexander Lacazette missed a penalty in the 69th minute of the game which could have easily made the scoreline 2-0.

The goal finally came in the 87th minute from Emile Smith Rowe who made things 2-0 from an outstanding finish coming from the youngster to wrap off the victory.

The match ended with Arsenal taking a 2-0 win against West Ham United as they move fourth on the Premier League for the first time this season.
