Mason Greenwood was on target as a youth Man United side played a 1-1 draw against Young Boys, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a good first-half encounter between the two sides who were able to get one each beating the goalkeepers.
Man United started the game as the better between the two sides as Mason Greenwood scored in the 9th minutes to give them a 1-0 lead.
Young Boys were unable to stop that goal from going in as they continued the encounter looking solid after conceding from an error.
The match progressed with more opportunities coming from both teams who had so much to do going forward and defending.
Fabian Rieder pulled back level for the visiting side in the 42nd minute after an amazing play saw them breaking down their opponent to score 1-1 as it progressed.
The first half of the encounter ended with Man United and Young Boys settling for a 1-1 draw scoreline as they both headed inside for the break.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that of fun as the first 45 minutes was as two goals came in with one coming very early from the Old Trafford club.
Man United dominance was felt by their opponent despite the players Ralf Rangnick use in the match which wasn’t their regular starting eleven.
It was looking not too bad for Young Boys who had some opportunities for themselves to make it count but they failed in making a good use of it.
The match pushed forward without anything happening with the game approaching the 70th minute and counting with still no goal to add.
Nothing was able to separate the two teams who weren’t looking like they need to add something to the scoreline with more wasted opportunities coming by.
The match came to an end with Man United 1-1 Young Boys as they both settled for a draw with United finishing top of the group.
