FT: Newcastle 0-4 Man City, Riyad Mahrez STRIKES! | HIGHLIGHTS

Riyad Mahrez was on target as Man City thrashed Newcastle United 0-4 to remain comfortable at the top of the table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams started off pushing forward but it was the visitors who regain control of things while they dominate the home side as it progressed.

It took Man City 5 minutes to score the opening goal which came through Ruben Dias who made the scoreline 0-1 as it carried on with more opportunities.

Newcastle United were very poor in all of their dealing in the first half of the encounter which saw them being pressured so much that they couldn’t make one movement.

Joao Cancelo made it 0-2 in the 27th minute of the game for his side who bossing things until they found a way of doubling their lead which looked good for them.

The game carried on with the visiting side dominating things at the Saint James Stadium which the home team had to defend and hope they don’t concede more.

The first half came to an end with Newcastle United 0-2 Man City as they both headed inside for the 45 minutes with a good advantage to the home side.

Second Half Report

The second half started well between both teams who had things working fine in the early minutes played despite it being one sided.

Newcastle United were doing good as things carried on for them fighting to ensure something comes out of their effort, but all attempts were poor.

Man City had to make sure they don’t relax despite knowing the lead and advantage was on their side with them not slowing down one bit.

The Citizens increased their lead in the 75th minute of the second half as Riyad Mahrez scored but it was reviewed by VAR before it was given 0-3 for the away side.

Raheem Sterling scored another goal in the 86th minute of the encounter to make the scoreline 0-4 as they continued looking good going forward.

The match came to an end with Man City thrashing Newcastle United 0-4 to remain top of the English Premier League table.
