A brace from Kylian Mbappe gave PSG a 2-0 win against Monaco as Lionel Messi provided one assist, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams had a fair amount of opportunities in the first half of the encounter which wasn’t that bad from both ends.
It was an evenly balanced first 10 minutes between both teams who couldn’t find a breakthrough despite the few chances created.
Kylian Mbappe scored the opener in the 12th minute of the first half which came through from a penalty which the World Cup winner finished off neatly to make it 1-0 for PSG.
Monaco were stunned by the goal which they were unable to recover from as the first half progressed further between the two biggest clubs in France.
They approached the final stages of the first 45 minutes with the scoreline still 1-0 as the pressure was still on the visiting side for the encounter.
Kylian Mbappe made it his brace in the 45th minute plus additional time as he teamed up with Lionel Messi who provided the assist to make things 2-0.
The first half of the match ended with PSG 2-0 Monaco as they both headed inside for the break with all the advantage going to Paris Saint Germain.
Second Half Report
The home side continued from where they stopped in the first half which was all about them dominating things into the second 45 minutes of the rivalry.
Monaco knew they had so much work to do in the second half which they carried on in good fate hoping to hit their opponent back or at least not concede more.
PSG pushed on with them dominating things on the pitch but couldn’t find another way of adding to their lead which was looking good for a victory.
Nothing happened as they approached the final few minutes with the game ending with PSG 2-0 Monaco which saw the home side taking all three points.
