Manchester United are now ready to sell Striker Anthony Martial on one condition, MySportDab reports.
Manchester United will let Anthony Martial leave only if any transfer meets the club demands.
Interim Coach Ralf Rangnick has spoken to the player and understands his frustration at United.
However, Rangnick believes that Martial will stay at United in January unless it meets United demands to avoid problems for another Covid-hit season which needs a big squad.
Martial is under contract at Manchester United for two-and-a-half years.
His £200,000-a-week salary could be a problem for any transfer deal.
He is more likely to leave in January on loan and Sevilla have already shown serious interest in Martial.
The former Monaco man has scored 79 goals in 268 matches since he joined United in 2015 for £58m.
However, he has started only four matches this season and did not play in the new manager’s first three matches due to injury.
Speaking about Martial ahead of the Newcastle match, Rangnick said: ‘We spoke about a lot.
‘He made me understand that he’s been at United for the last seven years and believes it’s the right time for a new challenge somewhere else.
‘This is understandable. I could let him leave but the club’s situation is far important now.
‘There are tough Covid days coming ahead, we have three big competitions that we still have high ambitions for.
‘It should be for both the interest of the player and the club before any deal can take place.
‘So far, there has been no offer from any club and if it continues this way, he will stay.’
Manchester United travel to face Newcastle in today’s Premier League match.
