Man United New Coach Ralf Rangnick Spotted At Old Trafford For The First Time!

Ralf Rangnick has now been spotted at Old Trafford for the first time on Wednesday afternoon, MySportDab reports.

The German is now preparing to begin work as Manchester United manager.

Rangnick was shown the stadium by United’s football director John Murtough.

John Murtough already knew Rangnick before his appointment and that helped the decision to make him interim manager.

Rangnick checked out the facilities at Old Trafford before going to the dugouts.

He spent several minutes on the pitch with Murtough before having a chat with former United defender Wes Brown.

On Monday, Manchester United announced the appointment of Rangnick until the end of the season.

Despite being in Manchester already, Rangnick can’t be in charge of his first game on Thursday night when United play against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

He is still waiting for the approval of his work visa.

That is the standard formality but the work permit has now been delayed further as he doesn’t meet the Football Association’s automatic criteria.

Rangnick has only taken two coaching roles in the last 10 years and has over 80 matches under his belt in that period, and this is why he falls short of the FA’s rules.

United are hopeful that his work permit issue will be sorted before Manchester United face Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The new delay means Michael Carrick remains for tonight’s game against Arsenal in the Premier League.
