Barcelona are now doubling down their effort to sign Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, MySportDab reports.

The Denmark International is nearing an exit away from Stamford Bridge as nothing has been said about his new contract with the club.

Andreas Christensen could reach an agreement with Barcelona ahead of next season with the club pushing through to ensure they reach an agreement.

So much is currently happening with Chelsea who are facing an uphill task of keeping their players whose contract will expire end of the season.

Andreas Christensen is that one player who is still yet to reach an agreement for a new contract which will keep him at the club beyond the normal season.

The laliga side are currently the only team ready to make a move happen as they continue to monitor things hoping they are able to strike a deal.

For now Andreas Christensen seems to be their main target this January which could likely happen and be official when the season comes to an end.
