So many top clubs are linked with a move for Erling Haaland which is now giving Borussia Dortmund so much troubles on keeping him.
Both the player and club are currently working together on making sure they reach an agreement for a decision to be taken soon.
Barcelona are looking like the favorite team to land a move if anything is possible to happen this January transfer which isn’t going faster than expected.
Although the striker won’t be sold for cheap as Borussia Dortmund will be looking to get a high fee from any club willing to meet their asking price.
Dortmund’s head of first-team football Sebastian Kehl has confirmed the club are planning a decision on Erling Haaland’s future in “the next few weeks”.
Erling Haaland committed to a four-and-a-half-year contract during the time he the German club from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.
HERE IS WHAT WAS SAID ABOUT HIS EXIT:
“The situation is very clear, he has the opportunity to get out [of his contract in the summer],” the Dortmund chief told a press conference.
“There are certainly a few more reasons why Haaland is in very good hands at Borussia Dortmund and why we as a club can continue to be a very good option for him.
“We will sit down with Erling and his team in the next few weeks and discuss the situation intensively. It would be good if a decision doesn’t drag on forever.”
This move is one that will be happening after the meeting and Borussia Dortmund can’t keep him any longer if they want to get a good fee for his move.
