Vincent Aboubakar and Karl Toko Ekambi scored a brace each as Cameroon beat Ethiopia 4-1 in the AFCON, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
So much coming in the first half of the encounter which saw both teams hitting the back of the net under 45 minutes played.
Dukele Dawa Hotessa gave Ethiopia the lead in the 4th minutes after an amazing buildup which saw him making the scoreline 0-1.
Cameroon continued the match with so much pressure on them which saw Karl Toko Ekambi making it 1-1 with a beautiful finish.
The first half carried on and approached the final stages which saw the scoreline remaining the way it was.
Things ended in the first half with Cameroon 1-1 Ethiopia as they both headed for the break with a draw scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half started off good with the host Nation dominating things going forward as they put up a solid defense also.
Cameroon took the lead in the 53rd minute of the encounter thanks to Vincent Aboubakar who smashed one beating the goalkeeper to make it 2-1.
Ethiopia were poor in the second half which cost them so much as Vincent Aboubakar immediately made it his brace in the 55th minute as the scoreline turned 3-1.
So many good display coming from the host Nation who carried on making sure their scoreline didn’t stop them from pushing for more goals.
Karl Toko Ekambi increased the advantage further to 4-1 after another amazing quality of football which saw him get a brace in the 67th minute as it progressed.
Opportunities kept on coming back and forth between the two Nations but nothing could change how the scoreline was which gave the home side everything they needed.
The match ended with Cameroon 4-1 Ethiopia which saw the host book their ticket to the next round with one game left to be played in the AFCON.
