Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick as Bayern Munich thrashed FC Cologne 0-4 in the German Bundesliga, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was flooded with goals coming from the visiting side who were dominant all through.
Robert Lewandowski put Bayern Munich ahead in the 9th minutes of the encounter after teaming up with Thomas Mueller to make it 0-1.
The Bavarians continued with their dominance providing more scoring opportunities which wasn’t utilized well as it porgressed.
FC Cologne had so much work as another goal went past them in the 25th minute which was scored by Corentin Tolisso with assist from Thomas Muller which made things 0-2.
Mark Uth pulled one back in the 31st minutes for the home side but it was ruled out after VAR review which saw the goal chopped off immediately.
The first half ended with FC Cologne 0-2 Bayern Munich as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football played.
Second Half Report
The second half was another good one from the Bavarians who kept scoring more goals against their poor opponent.
FC Cologne did well holding the League Champions from scoring in the early minutes which was played between them in the second half.
Robert Lewandowski increased the lead for Bayern Munich in the 62nd minute making the scoreline 0-3 from an outstanding finish.
More pressure coming from the visitors who were pushing for more as the match progressed with Robert Lewandowski making it his hattrick for the match in the 74th minute.
The goal came as a result of Leroy Sane brilliant delivery which saw the Polish machine scoring another stunner for the encounter.
The match ended with FC Cologne 0-4 Bayern Munich as the Bavarians claimed another three points in the bag extending their lead at the top of the table.
