Goals coming from Virgil van Dijk alongside Alexander Oxlade Chamberlain and Fabinho saw Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 1-3, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was all about the Reds getting things done in the first half of the encounter which entertaining for them going forward and scoring.

It took Liverpool 8 minutes to score the opening goal which came through from Virgil van Dijk after meeting Andrew Robertson’s delivery to make the scoreline 0-1.

The match continued with Crystal Palace pushing forward looking to get something back in the encounter that was too difficult for them to make anything of as it progressed further.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain scored another goal in the 38th minute making things 0-2 which was another wonderful play seeing Andrew Robertson making it his second assist for the encounter.

The first half carried on with more opportunities being created between both teams as they pushed forward looking to add more to things but they failed in all their attempts.

The first 45 minutes of the encounter came to an end with Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

The second half saw both teams hitting the back of the net within 45 minutes which had so many talking points.

Crystal Palace pulled one back in the 55th minute through Odsonne Edouard from a good teamwork effort saw the side making an opportunity which the forward finished off to make it 1-2.

The game continued with Liverpool dropping back as their opponent seems to have control of how things were going with more opportunities being created from both ends.

Fabinho increase the lead to 1-3 in the 89th minute after a foul saw the Reds being awarded a penalty which the Brazilian converted well for another goal.

The match came to an end with Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool as the Reds claimed all three points to narrow the gap between them and Manchester City.
