Mohamed Salah scored as Egypt move on to the semi final of AFCON after beating Morocco 2-1 in extra time, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a bad first half from both teams who had so much to do going forward with just one goal being scored after 45 minutes.
Thing started off well for Egypt until they conceded a penalty which saw Sofiane Boufal stepping up to make the scoreline 0-1 for the away side for the encounter in the 7th minute.
Morocco carried on with their lead going forward as they made sure the first half was all about them defending very hard to kept things the way it was.
The first half of the encounter ended with Egypt 0-1 Morocco as they both headed inside for the break with the away side taking the much needed advantage going forward.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different encounter which saw the home side for the match making things happen for themselves.
Morocco were able to Maintain their lead going forward as the second half was looking good with them hoping to keep thing in their own favor.
Egypt leveled things in the 53rd minute of the game through an outstanding finish from Mohamed Salah who scored to make the scoreline 1-1.
That was how things played out with Egypt 1-1 Morocco as they both headed inside waiting to finish things off in extra time or penalties.
Extra Time Match Report
They both came in hot in the extra time looking to take the advantage very early which failed to happen on many attempts.
Egypt took the lead in the 100th minute after good teamwork effort saw Trezeguet giving his side a 2-1 advantage going forward.
The match ended with Morocco crashing out of the AFCON after failing to comeback despite all the amount of opportunities they created going forward.
