Nigeria claimed another victory after beating Guinea-Bissau 0-2 as they continued their unbeaten run, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was good for both teams in terms of getting the job done at the back but attacking wasn’t so perfect with them unable to score.
Nigeria started the game as the better between both teams which saw them pushing forward trying to get an early lead that could turn things around.
Guinea-Bissau were perfect in their defending as they hold off the Super Eagles attack from breaking them down despite many attempts which didn’t result to anything.
Nothing happened as they pushed on further with nothing coming through as the game become more exciting with both teams trying to find the breakthrough.
The first half ended with Guinea-Bissau 0-0 Nigeria as they both headed inside for the break with no breakthrough from either teams going forward.
Second Half Report
The second half start off good with both teams going forward against each other finding a way to score the opening goal which didn’t happen immediately.
Guinea-Bissau continued holding on to the 0-0 scoreline which wasn’t a good thing for them knowing they need all three points to stand any chance of going into the next round.
Nigeria finally scored the opening goal in the 56th minute which came from Sadiq Umar after a wonderful display saw the Super Eagles making the scoreline 0-1.
Things continued with more opportunities being created from both ends and nothing changed the scoreline as it was already looking in favor of the away side.
William Troost Ekong scored another goal in the 75th minute which saw things turned 0-2 as they carry on in the encounter pushing for more.
The match came to an end with Guinea-Bissau 0-2 Nigeria as the Super Eagles claimed all three points and finish top of the group.
