Harry Kane was on target as Tottenham came from behind to beat Morecambe 3-1 to book their ticket into Emirates FA Cup next round, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The English Premier League struggled all through the first which didn’t see them getting anything past their opponent who were solid.
The first 30 minutes of the match was evenly balanced between Tottenham and lower League side Morecambe as both teams couldn’t break down each other going forward.
The visiting side broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute after a stunner from O’Connor which saw the lower League side taking the advantage 0-1 as it progressed against the EPL side.
More coming from both teams who pushed forward looking to get more of the match progressed with Spurs doing more of the work which didn’t paid off anything for them.
Opportunities came but none could be converted as they continued the match hoping to alter the scoreline which was in a draw.
The first half came to an end with Morecambe taking a 1-0 lead into the break against Tottenham after 45 minutes played in the Emirates FA Cup.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that bad for the lower League side who continued to show so much good display of football coming from them.
Tottenham couldn’t break down their opponent despite them getting the more share of the ball possession which they failed to make good use of it going forward.
Morecambe were good in all their dealings against the Premier League side who had to struggle so much in containing every attacking coming from the away side.
Harry Winks scored in 74th minute of the encounter giving Spurs the leveler from an outstanding finish after their pressure resulted in them getting a goal to make the scoreline 1-1.
Lucas Moura gave the Premier League side the advantage 2-1 advantage in the 85th minute giving the home side breathing space as it progressed further with more opportunities.
Harry Kane added another one on the 88th minute as the match saw Spurs making it 3-1 from a beautiful finish from their captain.
The match came to an end with Tottenham 3-1 Morecambe which sees the Premier League side moving into the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.
