The Brazilian has the World Cup on his mind and getting regular playing time is one thing he will be looking to get that’s why he made this move.

Meanwhile, the forward still has so much left in him despite his bad move to Barcelona which ended in him being a flop for the laliga.

Liverpool were said to be earlier interested in signing him but instead he has opted for Aston Villa where he stand a better chance of playing regularly.

He will once again be working with his former teammate Steven Gerrard who was key to making the move happen between both parties.

According to Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed an agreement has been reached with announcement set to follow up next.

Here Is What He Said:

“Philippe Coutinho’s is set to join Aston Villa on loan from Barcelona, done deal here we go!.

“Agreement completed after direct contact today morning.

“Loan until end of the season, Aston Villa will pay main part of the salary. Announcement today.

The forward will be seeing this as a fresh start that could see him get his form back playing in a familiar place he once called home.

Steven Gerrard will be doing everything on his part to make sure he give him more playing time which could also help the club this season.

Aston Villa were doing well until their recent run of form which isn’t looking so good and Philippe Coutinho could be that addition they need badly.
