Arsenal are edging closer to the race on signing AC Milan striker Rafael Leao during the summer window, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners have been in search of a striker since last summer which has seen them struggle to much up front this season.

With Aubmayang gone, Arsenal are now targeting AC Milan striker Rafael Leao who they are edging closer in making something happen.

The club has been linked with so many names but ending up losing out on the race due to them unable to match the transfer fee.

Their latest target Dusan Vlahovic just joined Juventus despite strong interests and offer made by Arsenal which was turned down for a better deal.

According to Live, they confirm the Gunners are now after the AC Milan striker with them leading the race.

Here is What Was Said:

“Arsenal are leading the race to sign AC Milan striker Rafael Leão, who is also being linked with Premier League rivals Wolves and Everton.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton might be easily outmatch by the Gunners who recently have been doing good in the transfer market.

They recent made signings over €200 million last summer which saw them rebuilding their team with some new names taking over.

It has paid off well for them as they are in contention for a top four finish after so many years with going better for them than it was last season.

Mikel Arteta has managed to make something good out of his time as Arsenal manager despite how they were last season after winning the FA Cup and Community shield.

This season so far has been good with a possible top four finish on their way which will play a huge part in them landing Rafael Leao or any other big names during the summer window.
