Philippe Coutinho was on target as Brazil thrashed Paraguay 4-0 in their FIFA World qualifiers match, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half started well for the Brazilians who made sure 100 percent dominance was theirs all through 45 minutes.
Paraguay held on good making sure their defending was onpoint against a side who had so much pressing to do against them as it progressed.
Brazil had to wait until 28th minute to get the opening goal which came through Leeds United forward Raphinha who scored a stunner to make the scoreline 1-0.
Things didn’t look much good for the away side who struggled all through but they made sure they didn’t go down more than once as the first half carried on.
More opportunities came through but nothing changed as they approached the final stages which saw the first half ending with Brazil 1-0 Paraguay.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different encounter as more goals were being scored by the home side who got the job done excellently.
Philippe Coutinho 62nd minute goal extended the lead for Brazil to 2-0 after a lovely teamwork effort saw the on loan Aston Villa increasing the advantage for his country.
More opportunities created but nothing changed the scoreline which carried on with the visiting side doing so much to ensure the scoreline does not get more embarrassing.
Paraguay couldn’t control things as they conceded another goal making it 3-0 thanks to a good effort from the home side which saw Antony scored in the 86th minute.
Things continued with another goal coming from Rodrygo in the 88th minute making it 4-0 as the game was already far from over for the visitors who were totally beaten in the encounter.
The match came to an end with Brazil strolling with a 4-0 victory against Paraguay who were no match for them after 90 minutes of football played between both countries.
