FT: Chelsea 2-0 Lille, Havertz And Pulisic STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic both scored as Chelsea beat Lille 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half wasn’t too bad for either side who did well enough to make it count as the opportunities were surplus.

Lille held on good as Kai Havertz could have made it count very early in the game, but thanks to Leo Jardim who made an incredible save keeping the ball from going in.

It was meant to be as the resulting corner lead to Chelsea taking a 1-0 lead with the German finishing off from Hakim Ziyech’s delivery to make it an advantage to the home side in the 8th minute.

More came through but nothing happened as they carried on approaching the final few minutes left to be played between them at Stamford Bridge.

The first half ended with Chelsea 1-0 Lille as they both headed inside for the break with the Champions taking a narrow advantage.

Second Half Report

The second half was filled with so much coming from the two sides once again as they carried on making more opportunities.

Chelsea were doing solid at the back and attacking as they looked to kill off the match knowing they have another big one during the weekend against Liverpool.

Lille did well enough this time not to concede early despite the amount of pressure they were facing from their opponent who saw more of the ball.

Christian Pulisic 63rd minute finish increased the lead to 2-0 with NGolo Kante helping out with the assist after breaking free in attack before making the assist.

Things progressed further with nothing happening as the match came to an end with Chelsea 2-0 Lille giving the Blues a comfortable advantage heading into the second leg of the encounter in France.
