Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah scored as Liverpool claimed a first leg win against Inter Milan 0-2, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams had it good against each other in the first half which saw so much coming from the 45 minutes of football played.
Inter Milan had solid wall put up against the English Premier League side who dominated things going forward but couldn’t breakthrough.
While Liverpool had everything working out for them, they did also had so much coming from their opponent who did create themselves some solid opportunities.
Nothing changed between them both as they carried on with the encounter as saw both defenses doing well enough to keep themselves out from making anything happen.
Things ended in the first half with Inter Milan 0-0 Liverpool as they both went inside for the break after an amazing 45 minutes of football between them.
Second Half Report
The second half kicked off same way it left in the first 45 minutes of the game which saw both teams doing everything possible to get the opening goal.
Liverpool still continue dominating things going forward but couldn’t find their way as the Italian side came in prepared knowing they have the home advantage which worked so much for them.
Still nothing happening between them as it progressed with Inter Milan also pushing forward in numbers with hopes of them making something happen before the Premier League did first with them approaching the one hour mark.
The game wasn’t looking like changing anytime soon until substitute Roberto Firmino scored in the 75th minute to give his side a 0-1 lead from an outstanding finish.
They wasted no time in adding another one in the 83rd minute with Mohamed Salah finishing off with a strike which deflected beating the goalkeeper to make it 0-2.
The match came to an end with Inter Milan losing 0-2 against Liverpool who go home with a huge advantage ahead of the return leg of the encounter at Anfield.
