Aubameyang scored again as Barcelona beat Napoli 2-4 to qualify for the next round of the Europa League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Four goals scored in the first half of the encounter ensured both teams had an amazing 45 minutes of football.
Jordi Alba gave Barcelona the lead in the 8th minute of the encounter which saw the defender finishing off to make the scoreline 0-1.
Napoli conceded another one in the 13th minute through a stunner from Frenkie De Jong to make it 0-2 as it carried on with poor display coming from the home side.
Lorenzo Insigne converted from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute as an error cost the away side giving away a foul inside the box which the Italian stepped up made it 1-2 for his side.
Gerrard Pique increased the advantage further to the 45th minute from a clever play coming from the defender who benefitted from an opportunity making it 1-3 as it carried on.
Nothing happened again as the first half ended with Napoli 1-3 Barcelona as they both headed inside for the break with the away side taking a huge advantage after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that bad as the home side improved more in their defending which saw the goals stop coming in.
Barcelona carried on further with good display coming from them as it continued looking good for them with the advantage on their side.
A 59th minute goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saw Napoli going down further in the encounter as the scoreline turned 1-4 with an assist from Adama Traore as it continued.
Matteo Politano scored in the 87th minute of the second half to make it 2-4 which was too late for the home side to come back into the encounter.
The match ended with Napoli 2-4 Barcelona as the Laliga side made it through into the next round of the Europa League Cup game.
