Harry Maguire has come out to make some claims about him and Cristiano Ronaldo battle for club captain, MySportDab reports.
The defender has been hit with so much of lately which hasn’t gone well for the England International who is now having to deal with the latest at hand.
Harry Maguire and Cristiano Ronaldo are said to be in battle for who to lead the club as captain having seen the defender poor display in the last few games.
The reports made headlines in all top sporting website who claimed the defender could be strip off his role as captain of Manchester United.
Since Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford it has been hit with different reaction from other players mostly Edinson Cavani.
The Portuguese took away the number seven shirt and his arrival has forced Cavani into seating on the bench despite his performance last season for the club.
And now he is on the verge of replacing Harry Maguire as Manchester United permanent captain according to the latest reports.
The defender has come out to address the issue making rounds as they prepare for their next English Premier League game.
