Liverpool will attempt to make a move for Lautaro Martinez ahead of summer window, MySportDab reports.
The Inter Milan striker has been approached by other Premier League clubs who have ended up not going ahead with the move.
Lautaro Martinez is now a target for Liverpool who are already planning life with possible Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane exit this summer.
The Reds will have to make an offer that is good enough for them to land the Argentine International who his club has placed a huge transfer fee on.
Inter Milan also made it clear that the player is not for sale as offers had already come in from other top clubs in Europe which was turned down.
The club also announced a contract extension in 2021 which saw the player signing a new deal that will see him remain with the club until 2026.
The 24-year-old was also made the highest paid player in the squad earning more above others playing with them.
Although one good thing is that the contract does not include a clause which could have made it impossible for any club going after him.
Although it won’t be an easy one for Liverpool who will have to pay huge fee and there are possibilities of that value hitting an all time high if the player performance improves.
The Premier League side are also hoping to keep their key players as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are currently being monitored by Real Madrid and others.
