Manchester United player Mason Greenwood has now been removed from Football Manager 2022 due to allegations of rape and sexual assault, MySportDab reports.
The youngster got arrested for rape and assault in January after his girlfriend sent some pictures and abuse videos on social media.
Greenwood was again charged with sexual assault and attempts to kill.
But, a few days later he was released on bail by Manchester Police pending further investigation.
Gaming brand, EA Sports removed Greenwood from FIFA 22 with a database update over the rape case issue.
Now, Football Manager 2022 has also removed Mason Greenwood from it’s game with a new official game update today.
Sports Interactive, Owner of Football Manager 2022 released a statement today.
It read: “Any player serving a suspension from football, for a good reason has now been removed from Football Manager with our new official latest update.
“If and when the player suspension is lifted, he/she will be reinstated at the next update.”
Football Manager 2022’s latest update gives fans the chance to use a new updated database (22.3.0).
But, Greenwood is no longer in the FM22 database.
Manchester United have not yet allowed Greenwood return back to training or play until further notice.
To make things worse, Nike has also confirmed the end of their partnership with him.
