FT: Luton 2-3 Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku Score WINNER! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Romelu Lukaku scored the winning goal as Chelsea came from behind to beat Luton Town 2-3, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It wasn’t a good first half for the Blues who weren’t balanced as every players were scattered all over.

Luton Town made good use of an early opportunity to score the opening goal in the 2nd minutes of the match through Reece Burke to make the scoreline 1-0 going forward.

Chelsea couldn’t make anything happen as the match carried on until Saul Niguez leveled things in the 27th minute to make things 1-1 with a good finish.

More opportunities coming as they approach the final stages of the half which saw the home side took the lead in the 40th minute through a goal from Harry Cornick to make it 2-1.

The first half ended with Luton Town 2-1 Chelsea as they both went inside after 45 minutes of football which saw Thomas Tuchel side looking very poor going forward and defending.

Second Half Report

The second half of the encounter was different as the Blues did everything possible in making sure they came back in the 45 minutes.

It was all about Chelsea maintaining their dominance in the encounter which was beginning to open up for them as it carried on.

Luton Town did well enough in defending but couldn’t stop Timo Werner from making the scoreline 2-2 with an assist from Ruben Loftus Cheek who was brilliant with the delivery in the 68th minute.

Romelu Lukaku put the Blues ahead in the 78th minute of the match which was a good buildup that Timo Werner squared in pass to the Belgian who immediately made it 2-3 in the encounter.

The match came to an end with Luton Town 2-3 Chelsea as the Blues made it into the next round of the Emirates FA Cup after the amazing win.
