Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood’s bail expiry date has now been confirmed today, MySportDab reports.
Greenwood’s bail from police custody with officially expire on April 30th.
He was previously arrested for rape, sexual assault and attempts to kill.
The English youngster got arrested by police for the first time on January 30th on charges of rape and physical assault.
He was then further charged on sexual assault and attempts to kill.
On February 2, Greater Manchester Police announced that Greenwood had been released on bail.
An official statement read: “A 20-year-old man arrested on Sunday 30 for rape and assault has been released on bail as investigation continues.”
However, Greater Manchester Police have today now confirmed with a new statement according to Mirror Football.
MySportDab understands that Greenwood’s bail from police custody will officially expire on April 30, 2022.
However, his bail conditions could be extended.
Mason Greenwood remains suspended by Manchester United until further notice.
His last Premier League match for United was against West Ham in January.
Due to his arrest, Nike ended their partnership with the player.
Greenwood made his first team debut for United back in 2019.
He has played 129 matches for Manchester United ever since, scoring 35 goals across all competitions.
