Mason Greenwood has now returned back on the Manchester United official website today, MySportDab reports.
Fans can now access Greenwood’s profile on Manchester United’s official website.
The 20-year-old got arrested in January on suspicion of sexual assault.
He was taken into Police custody and stayed there for some days.
But, Greenwood is still a Manchester United player and he is currently suspended by the club.
His appearance back on the website could be good news that Manchester United might allow him return back.
Nothing is confirmed on his return to the first team for now.
Greenwood’s profile on United’s website, reads: “A brief striker who has been impressive with his progress at United and made a huge impact in 2019/20 season.”
Due to his arrest, Mason Greenwood was removed from the first-team squad list on the club’s official website.
Three days after his arrest, Greenwood left the police station on bail despite the ongoing police investigation.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) released a statement which read: “A 20-year-old man arrested with charges of rape and sex assault has been released on bail until further investigation.”
However, MySportDab understands that Greenwood’s bail will expire on April 30th and it can still be extended.
The Red Devils youngster has not trained with or played for the club since a Premier League match on Saturday, January 22.
Greenwood has been heavily affected by the current case.
He has been removed from popular football video games FIFA 22 and Football Manager.
American sportswear giants Nike have also ended their sponsorship with the English man.
Greenwood made his first team debut for Manchester United in 2019 and has played 129 matches ever since.
