Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Manchester United training ground after missing City game, MySportDab reports.
The Portuguese who left before Manchester City game due to hip injury has return to the club.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned with two bodyguards who were following him closely in his car.
He was ruled out of the Manchester Derby due to hip injury which couldn’t see him make an appearance in the encounter.
Although he could have stayed on the bench but instead he had to leave UK for Portugal.
His decision shocked the rest of the team which also didn’t go well with others who were surprise by him leaving.
Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick had few words to say on Ronaldo’s condition ahead of Sunday’s defeat against City.
Here Is What He Said:
“Cristiano had some problems with his hip flexor on Friday and since then, he didn’t train,” said the German before the match.
“Our doctor came to me on Friday morning to say Cristiano couldn’t train because of some problems with his hip flexor and the same on Saturday.”
Although that wasn’t convincing enough as many other had their own opinion including Manchester United legend.
Roy Keane was quick to point out that something isn’t adding up with everything that led to Cristiano Ronaldo leaving.
Here Is What He Said:
“The surprise is Ronaldo with the problem with his hip flexor, but United have a bit of pace they still have to come out and play with pride and quality.
“Elanga is a good player, positive and is an intelligent player.
“There seems to be something more with the Ronaldo situation, the manager coming out talking about something about his hip flexor but the man is a machine and is rarely injured.
“But every now and again he comes out with that about his hip flexor, doesn’t add up to me.”
Cristiano Ronaldo is now back and no update has been given yet as to his fitness or if he will be available for the next game.
