Cristano Ronaldo has now confirmed the death on his newborn child with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, MySportDab reports.
The Portuguese superstar has now asked for privacy in this difficult situation.
Ronaldo confirmed the news on social media on Monday evening.
The couple were expecting twins and the baby girl was born perfectly.
But the new born baby boy did not survive.
Ronaldo is currently the father of four children, Cristiano Jr, Mateo, Eva and Alana.
The striker announced in a post with partner Georgina Rodriguez.
Ronaldo’s statement On Instagram read:
“It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing away of our baby boy,” the message said.
“This is a severe pain for any parent to feel.
“The safe delivery of our baby girl has given us the strength to live with some hope.
“Thank you to the doctors and nurses for their care and support.
“We are devastated and ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you will remain our angel. We love you.”

Ronaldo’s teammate Marcus Rashford reacted and wrote: “Our Thoughts are with you and Georgina my brother.”

Ronaldo was expected to play for Manchester United in the next match against Liverpool.
However, it is now very unlikely for him to play in that match on Tuesday in the Premier League.
Ronaldo met Georgina Rodriguez for the first time while playing in La Liga at Real Madrid.
She was working at a Gucci store and that is how their story started.
Rodriguez immediately built a strong bond with Ronaldo’s children Cristiano Jr, twins Mateo and Eva.
Rodriguez and Ronaldo already have one child together named Alana before the twins she announced in 2021.
Speaking in an interview about life in Manchester after moving from Italy in the summer, Georgina was happy with everything.
