Manchester United’s transfer budget for next season and plans by Erik Ten Hag has now been revealed, MySportDab reports.
The Red are planning to sign only three new players in the summer transfer window despite Coach Ralf Rangnick suggesting 10 players are needed.
According to The Daily Mail, Manchester United will give manager Erik ten Hag a £100-£150m transfer budget for new players next season.
However, the United Hierarchy have now asked the Dutch boss to work on an evolution rather than overall.
Reports have suggested that Ten Hag is interested in signing Darwin Nunez, Jurrien Timber and Pau Torres for United.
The Red Devils will also work on selling players like Anthony Martial, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Alex Telles and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Manchester United chiefs have already refused to respond to Rangnick’s comments after the 4-0 loss at Liverpool.
Speaking after the Liverpool game, Rangnick said Manchester United needed to sign 10 new players in the summer.
He said: ‘It’s absolutely embarrassing, and disappointing, even humiliating. It is very obvious that Liverpool are many years ahead of us.
‘There needs to be a rebuild here. Six, seven, or 10 players should arrive.
‘Am certain that here will be a rebuild, It became obvious in the first three or four weeks.
‘It is extremely disgraceful for us as a coaching staff to have a press conference like this.’
Next Season Plans!
United are keen to bring in new players during the summer transfer window.
However, they have made it clear to Ten Hag that they are not prepared for an overhaul.
The new manager will get extra cash once United sell some players.
Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, and Edinson Cavani are expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
Also, Ten Hag has to make a decision about the goalkeeping situation at United for next season.
Dean Henderson wants to leave but some sources have claim that Ten Hag is not fully committed with De Gea.
Therefore, Manchester United are already working on the overall plan to Kick-off at the end of the season.
The Red Devils want a striker and midfielder in the summer window.
They are interested in both Harry Kane and Benfica striker Nunez.
However, Benfica are said to want around £100m for the striker and that fee could put off Manchester United.
