That goal did not just level things, but it gave Villarreal the advantage on aggregate knowing they already won the first leg.
It was an eventful night for the Europa League Champions who defeat Manchester United in the final last season to win the title.
They have so much work to do as they are likely to face Liverpool in the semifinals and will be looking to make the final after that encounter.
