Benfica Star Darwin Nunez has now revealed his decision on joining Manchester United this summer, MySportDab reports.
He has rejected the idea of play for the Red Devils.
The young striker wants to play Champions League football next season.
Manchester United have already failed to qualify for the UCL after a poor season as they could now finish sixth and qualify for the Europa League.
According to RMC Sport, Nunez has now rejected Manchester United’s offer for a £68m transfer, in a blow to coach Erik ten Hag.
Also, the Uruguayan has rejected a transfer to Newcastle, who have big plans for next season.
However, Arsenal have also been linked with the 22-year-old, but are unlikely to qualify for the UCL.
Arsenal need top four rivals Tottenham to lose against Norwich on the final day of the season to finish in the top-four.
Manchester United are likely to invest massively in a squad that needs to wake up after their worst Premier League season ever.
The likes of Phil Jones, Dean Henderson, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Eric Bailly could all leave at the end of the season.
Nunez is now one of the most wanted young strikers in Europe today.
He has scored 34 goals in 41 matches for Benfica across all competitions this season.
The youngster performed well in the Champions League, and scored goals in against Liverpool, Barcelona and Ajax.
