Chelsea is still the number one favorite to land a move for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, MySportDab report.
Jules Kounde is currently linked with different clubs in Europe including Manchester United who have a new manager incoming.
It won’t be an easy deal for the English Premier League side who are having to deal with losing two of their defenders when the season ends.
They are yet to replace Kurt Zouma who left during the start of the season after completing a shock move to West Ham United after a deal swap failed with Sevilla.
Andreas Christensen recently signed a contract with Barcelona which will see him leave Stamford Bridge once the season comes to an end.
While Antonio Rudiger is set to sign his four years contract with Real Madrid making it two key defenders who are leaving at the end of the season.
Thomas Tuchel has also made it clear that they will be going into the market to look for a good replacement ahead of the new season which won’t be an easy one for them.
Jules Kounde and Pau Torres are two players who have been singled out by Chelsea as they will be spending big in the market with hopes of a new owner announced before then.

“Sevilla always asked for €80m as release clause price – while Chelsea will lose both Rüdiger & Christensen.
The price placed on the defender was the reason Chelsea couldn’t sign Jules Kounde in their last attempt despite an agreement on personal terms being reached.
