Manchester United are now ready to offer Ousmane Dembele a contract to sign him on a free transfer, MySportDab reports.
This new development comes after Paris Saint-Germain ended their interest in signing the player.
Dembele will be a free agent in June and has won many trophies during his football career in the Bundesliga and Spanish La Liga.
However, he has struggled so much with injuries, and only played 150 matches over the last five years.
But, Dembele is still one of the best wingers in European football today.
In 2017, Barcelona paid £135.5m to Borussia Dortmund sign the France International and now want him to sign a new contract.
Now, According to Spanish Newspaper SPORT, Barcelona are finding it difficult to reach an agreement on the contract extension with Dembele.
Barca have made some progress in recent weeks with their negotiations but it has not reached an agreement.
But if Barcelona can’t keep him, there are some top European clubs ready to take advantage.
PSG were in the race for Dembele, but they are no longer in the player.
According to Le Parisien, new PSG sporting director Luis Campos is not convinced by Dembele.
He is worried about the player’s injury record, and doesn’t believe it’s worth the risk.
Dembele was considering the offer to join PSG before sporting director Leonardo was sacked.
That leaves Dembele with Manchester United as another top option.
According to Spanish sources, Manchester United have offered Dembele a contract worth around £8m and £11m per season.
If the reports are true, the 25-year-old could earn over £240,000-a-week in the Premier League.
Man Utd have been linked with Dembele for a long time even from his Borussia Dortmund days.
