Arsenal are ready to improve their bid for  Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus, MysportDab reports.

The Brazil international has been on the transfer radar of Mikel Arteta since the end of the summer.

The London side has valued the Man City star at £30m, but Manchester City expects approximately £50m for the forward.

The former assistant boss at Manchester City is ready to close up Gabriel Jesus’ bid to the £50m price tag set by Manchester City.

According to Skysport, Arsenal have valued Gabriel Jesus at £30m but will try to meet the target price set by the Citizens.

Gabriel Jesus still has a year remaining in his Manchester City contract but has been eyeing a move away from the Etihad.

Chelsea is also interested in the Brazil international, but the Gabriel Jesus is keen on a move to Arsenal.

According to reports, Gabriel Jesus’ desire to join Arsenal at the Emirates has been hindered by the disparity in the valuation of the player.

The Citizens have put forward a strong argument for their valuation of the player.

According to them, Jesus is just 25-year-old and is still untapped with great potential.

They also highlighted his hard work off the pitch and the challenge of selling the player to a rival Premier League club.

Mikel Arteta is desperately in need of a frontline striker after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Barcelona while Lacazzette’s contract expires.
