His impact wasn’t that too good as many fans might say, but he did have some amazing games in which he helped the Blues on a couple of occasions.

Saul Niguez was one of their highest-earning players who was sacrificed to make sure they can cut down on their wage cap.
His first few games with Chelsea were a bit rough as he struggled to cope with the position he was put to play during those encounters.
He was able to get control of things while he played more games, although it wasn’t enough to get him a regular starting place knowing the squad had so much quality.
Saul Niguez is one of the players earning huge with Atletico Madrid and making the move to Chelsea permanent would mean them paying the same fee.
They have now decided not to sign the player who will be returning to Atletico Madrid and will have to figure out a way to offload him or send him on loan.
