Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has now sent a clear message to the new coach Erik Ten Hag, MySportDab reports.
The Portuguese has now committed his future to Old Trafford for next season under the new manager.
CR7 made his return to the Premier League last season but it was a disappointing season for the Red Devils.
United failed to perform and were at risk of playing in the European conference league next season.
Ronaldo has one year left on contract deal at Manchester United and now he wants things to change at the club.
In a new Manchester United Interview, Ronaldo said: ‘I was happy to return back to a club that helped my career. So it’s unbelievable.
‘The feeling when I returned, it was nice and special. The happiness of the fans is important.
‘I am no doubt very happy to stay here.’
Ronaldo was United’s top scorer in the Premier League last season with 18 goals.
However, The forward still has hope that Manchester United can truly return back to ‘where they belong’.
‘Am confident that United will return back to where we we belong,’ he added.
‘As I said before, we must have believe and be patient.
‘The records coming gradually. I don’t think about the records it just follows me.
‘Am still motivated to carry on. To keep on working hard. I love the game. No doubt, Manchester and my team-mates have helped me so I have to appreciate everyone.’
MySportDab is not sure when the video was recorded but it appears to be after Ten Hag got appointed as new permanent manager.
About Ten Hag, Ronaldo wished the former Ajax coach the best for his tenure at Old Trafford.
He said: ‘I know he performed very well at Ajax and no doubt he has so much experience. But we must give him time to make the necessary changes.
‘I hope we succeed of course. Because if the team succeeds, everyone will be very happy.
‘Everyone is excited, not only the players but the fans too.
‘Let’s hope that next year we will win some trophies.’
