Angry England fans now want Coach Gareth Southgate to be sacked as the national team coach, MySportDab reports.

This comes after England’s shocking 4-0 loss against Hungary in the Nations League on Tuesday night.

Roland Sallai gave Hungary the lead in the 16th-minute before scoring again twenty minutes later.

England now started chasing the game, trying to complete a comeback.

But, it did not go as planned because Zsolt Nagy and Daniel Gazdag each scored to give Hungary a 4-0 lead.

However, John Stones did receive a red card and England were reduced to 10 men.

The Three Lions are now sit bottom of Group A3 in the Nations League after failing to win any other matches so far.

With only the two Nations League matches left before the 2022 World Cup, fans have taken to social media to ask that the England boss be sacked immediately.

One fan wrote: ‘He is here wasting another golden generation.’

Another fan said: ‘It would be disgraceful if he’s not sacked.’

Piers Morgan also criticised England and manager, saying their performance was a ‘shambles’.

The 4-0 thrashing against Hungary is England’s worst defeat since 1928, a result that did not come at the right time.

During his interview after the match, Southgate confirmed that he had struggled to find the correct team for the Nations League.

Despite being bottom of the group, Southgate refused to start key leaders like Jordan Pickford, Declan Rice and Raheem Sterling.

England held over 65 per cent of ball possession throughout the match but struggled to disturb the Hungarian defence.

Key players Mason Mount, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden were not in the starting lineup.

Harry Kane’s goal against Germany is England’s only goal so far in the Nations League this summer.
