Andreas Cornelius scored a brace as Denmark came from behind to beat France 1-2, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams had a fair share of the ball moving forward in the first half which they both made things happened.
France maintained their dominance in the first-half which saw them keeping out their opponent from making advances forward but nothing happened for them.
The match continued in the first 20 minutes with nothing coming from Denmark who weren’t that bad for themselves as things continued looking good.
The opportunities was seen more but the scoreline did not change as it continued the same goalless affair which carried on further and forward.
It was a good half despite nothing coming through from both Nations who had the opportunity of making something happen in the match.
The first half ended with France 0-0 Denmark as they both headed inside for the break with the two teams yet to make anything happen.
Second Half Report
The second half was so much better seeing how many goals was scored by them as it continued with more entertainment.
Karim Benzema scored in the 51st minutes after a good link up with RB Leipzig man Christopher Nkuku who provided the assist to make it 1-0 for France.
That goal opened up the game more as Denmark started to show up more urgency as they looked sharp attacking but couldn’t score.
Andreas Cornelius leveled things 1-1 in the 68th minute after an incredible effort resulting to Pierre Hojbjerg setting up the assist for the equalizer.
It wasn’t over yet as the match carried on until the 88th minutes when Andreas Cornelius scored his brace to make it 1-2 for his side.
That goal was enough to sink UEFA Nations League Champions France as they lost 1-2 against Denmark on their home ground after 90 minutes.
