Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood’s case will be heard in court finally next week, MySportDab reports.
Greenwood’s lawyers have submitted a bail extension application to the court following the allegations of assault on a young woman.
The police are still investigating on the case and now there has been an application to extend bail.
The bail hearing will be at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court next week Wednesday.
The youngster got arrested back in January after images and videos of him assaulting his girlfriend got online.
He was also taken into custody on suspicion of making threats to kill at a Greater Manchester police station.
Greenwood got released for the first in February on conditional bail and it got extended until June.
He is expected to be present at the new bail extension hearing next week Wednesday.
A Court official said: ‘We can confirm an application to extend the bail of an individual will be taken to court on June 23, 2022.’
Rumours have gone viral on social media recently that the forward will face no police action but that is all false because there has been no final decision.
So, the player remains suspended by Manchester United Football Club.
Greater Manchester Police arrested the young man on 30 January after his girlfriend, Harriet Robson accused him of assault and sexual threats on social media.

The England player was first detained on suspicion of attacking a woman, which is his girlfriend.
After being released from bail, Greenwood immediately improve the security at his home.
He paid for two new private security guards at the rented house and an expert installed a home CCTV system.
Nike has terminated its sponsorship deal with Greenwood, and EA Sports have removed him from their games.
Greenwood has scored 22 goals in 83 matches for Manchester United.
His last match for the club was in a 1-0 Premier League win on 22 January vs West Ham.
