However, De Gea is likely to win if it decided by the Manchester United dressing room.
De Gea has become a key player for Manchester United after 11 years at the Premier League club.
He won United’s Players’ Player of the Year award for the 2021-22 season thanks to his brilliant goalkeeping performances.
He was captain for United in the 2019-20 season, before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made a new decision within a few months.
However, De Gea is now United’s No. 1 first choice goalkeeper at Manchester United, and could become more important for next season.
