Tottenham are now ready to submit an offer for Ajax star Antony ahead of Manchester United, MySportDab reports.
Spurs are ready to include Steven Bergwijn in any deal for Antony this summer.
Manchester United have been linked with the Brazilian winger already but no talks so far.
He could end up reuniting with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford or join Tottenham.
But, According to The Sun, Tottenham are interested in the 22-year-old, after securing their return to the Champions League.
Antony had a fantastic season with Ajax, scoring eight goals, providing four assists and winning the Dutch league title.
Now, the Brazilian is attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
Manchester United are likely to bring in new signings this summer, as Ten Hag looks to start his rebuild as manager.
Also, Ten Hag being manager is a positive in any deal for the relations between Manchester United and Ajax are very strong.
However, Tottenham are confident they can sign Antony, due to Ajax’s interest in Steven Bergwijn.
Bergwijn joined Tottenham in January 2020 for £26m but has failed to impress in the Premier league.
In almost three seasons, he has played 83 matches, scoring only eight goals.
He is not in Antonio Conte’s plans for next season and is expected to leave this summer.
For Manchester United, they have already missed out on signing Darwin Nunez, so losing Antony won’t sit well with the fans.
